On January 30, 2021 (Saturday), at approximately 10:22 p.m., personnel from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to a motor vehicle collision near 10^th Street West/Avenue O-8, which is within the incorporated area of the City of Palmdale.

The preliminary facts of this investigation indicate at approximately 10:22 p.m., a black 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by an unknown male was driving northbound on 10^th Street West in the #2 lane, ran a red light at Avenue O-8 and collided with a dark gray 2018 Honda Civic. 

The Honda was driving westbound on Avenue O-8 and was occupied by one male adult and one male juvenile.  The driver of the Chrysler fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
 
Both the male driver and male passenger of the Honda Civic succumbed to their injuries on scene.  This is an active investigation and anyone with information regarding the traffic collision is encouraged to call Palmdale Station’s Traffic Detective Day at 661-272-2423.
