On January 11, 2021, at approximately 9:44 PM, Deputies out of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters Patrol Station responded to a robbery of El Rio Liquor located at 2910 E. Vineyard Avenue in El Rio - Oxnard.
An unknown Hispanic male, approximately 20-25 years old, brandished a knife, threatened the store clerk, and demanded cash. The suspect took cash from the register and liquor bottles before fleeing to an older model 4-door sedan.
Headquarters Station Detectives are investigating the case and are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect in the attached surveillance photo clips. If you have any information about this crime, please contact Detective Janca at 805-654-2360.
