Alert
South Brunswick Office of Emergency Management is coordinating with Middlesex County Health Department and State officials about the evolving vaccine distribution. We understand there is some confusion and frustration with the vaccination efforts and information is changing on a daily basis. Governor Murphy today expanded the eligibility for the vaccine and there is an increased demand for information. There are several efforts to increase the availability of vaccinations. Next week we anticipate the State will open a mega-site vaccination location in Raritan Center in Edison, NJ. Vaccinations are also being offered by Middlesex County Health Department in Sayreville. The county has a plan to open 5 regional vaccination centers in the coming weeks. We have put together our best guidance for how to register for the vaccine and different locations offering the vaccine. We will provide updates on any new locations as we get them.
WHO IS ABLE TO GET THE VACCINE?
Currently Phase 1A – Healthcare workers, first responders (police & fire)

HOW TO REGISTER?

You should first register on the State website and you will receive a notification when one of the Mega-sites comes open and available. After you register on the State website, you should check the individual sites to see if there are any available appointments. The State website does not automatically forward your information to the County or local providers.
