UPDATE#LASD Special Enforcement Bureau responded to a Barricaded Suspect, 37700 Blk Highland St, Palmdale
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) has concluded their tactical response regarding a barricaded suspect on the 37700 block of Highland Street, Palmdale. The suspect was found deceased at the location.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies from Palmdale station responded to a domestic dispute call on the 37700 block of Highland Street, Palmdale.
LASD Palmdale station personnel along with SEB gave verbal commands in an attempt to get the suspect to surrender. The suspect did not respond nor surrender to multiple verbal commands.
After several hours, SEB deployed an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) throughout the house in an attempt to locate the suspect. After a search, the suspect was found deceased in the garage of the residence.
The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
The identity of the suspect will not be released at this time.
