Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding an officer-involved shooting.
On Staurday, January 2nd, 2021 at approximately 11:17 PM officers from the San Gabriel Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the 1800 block of San Gabriel Blvd., in the city of San Gabriel.
During the traffic stop, the driver produced a handgun and an officer-involved shooting occurred.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other persons or officers were injured.
