The DC Department of Parks and Recreation, the DC Department of General Services, and DC Public Schools would like to share that the Skate Park and the Dog Park at Shaw will close for renovations starting Monday, January 18, 2021. All DPR amenities at Shaw will reopen upon the project completion, aligned with the new Banneker High School opening in August 2021, as discussed in our community meetings.
