Media Parking at the Hall of Justice: Parking at or around the Hall of Justice is very limited and public safety is paramount. News media representatives are reminded that parking restrictions apply to their vehicles. These restrictions are subject to enforcement at any time by the city of Los Angeles and/or the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department or their parking enforcement agencies or officials. The most important safety-related components pertain to fire department or other emergency access and vehicle or pedestrian safety, to include use of the sidewalk and ingress or egress of the property. It is unlawful to block driveways, create blind spots for motorists or pedestrians, and obstruct stairwells, fire hydrants, crosswalks, handicap access points or other pedestrian thoroughfares or walkways. Media representatives should consider all of these safety factors when making their decisions on where or how to park their vehicles. Placement of equipment and overhead clearance for satellite or other antennas should also be considered.
