Today while patrolling in the Altadena area, one of our deputies was suddenly ambushed in her marked patrol car by gunfire. 

This unprovoked ambush occurred in the vicinity of Fair Oaks Ave. & Calaveras St.  Multiple gunshots were fired at her, but luckily she was not struck. 

Both suspects are described as black males in their 20’s, anyone with information related to this incident is asked to please contact Altadena Sheriff’s Station at (626) 798-1131.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.
