Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators continue to assist South Pasadena Police Department in the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a White male adult in his 40’s in South Pasadena.

South Pasadena Officers responded to the 500 block Five Oaks Drive, South Pasadena, regarding a domestic violence in progress call.

Upon arrival the officers found the front window of the location shattered and could hear the sound of screaming women inside.  The officers made entry through the broken window and found a White male suspect in his 40’s stabbed and beaten.  The South Pasadena Officers administered aid. South Pasadena Fire Department arrived on scene and pronounced the male adult dead at the scene.

Under further investigation it was determined that the male adult broke into the residence and attacked his estranged girlfriend.  While the suspect was in the processes of beating and choking the female victim, her mother and adult sister came to her aid.  During the struggle, the suspect was stabbed and beaten with a golf club.
The original female victim was transported to the local hospital and treated for facial injuries and has been released.

NARRATIVE:

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 530 block of Five Oaks Drive, South Pasadena regarding the stabbing death a male adult. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at approximately 9:59 a.m.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.
