Fourth subject arrested in Monday night's Westbury Park, Bluffton, murder of Timothy Milliken.
Sarah Barr, 17, of Summerville, South Carolina, was arrested today, Friday, November 20, 2020, by Sheriff’s Office investigators on warrants for Murder, Armed Robbery and Kidnapping in connection with Monday night's Westbury Park shooting death of Timothy Milliken.
This morning, Sheriff's Office investigators traveled to the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office in Summerville, where they met with Barr. Barr was interviewed about Milliken's murder and arrested on the three warrants, which had been obtained through a Beaufort County magistrate yesterday.
Investigators transported Barr to the Beaufort County Detention Center, where she is incarcerated. Barr has yet to receive a bond hearing.
Barr is the fourth subject in custody regarding Milliken's murder.
Yesterday, three subjects — Devante White, Malik White and Jamal Coakley Jr. — were arrested by Gwinnett County and Atlanta police departments in coordination with Sheriff's Office investigators.
The three remain in custody in Georgia and are awaiting extradition to South Carolina on charges of Murder, Armed Robbery and Kidnapping. Devante White and Jamal Coakley Jr. are facing an additional charge of Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime.
It appears that Milliken was familiar with at least one the subjects and was specifically targeted by the four.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who has information is asked to contact Corporal William Weich at 843-255-3313 or Crimestoppers of the Lowcountry at 843-554-1111, if wishing to remain anonymous and for possible reward.
We would like to thank the Gwinnett County Police Department, the Atlanta Police Department, the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for their assistance in the investigation.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office appreciates your continued commitment to the safety of our community.
