While conducting extra patrol at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Moorpark Deputies contacted Francisco Arevalo who is currently on formal probation with search terms.  Arevalo was with Rosalia Salinas. Deputies determined both subjects were under the influence of methamphetamine. A search of their hotel room resulted in the seizure of approximately 44 grams of methamphetamine which equates to approximately 440 doses of this highly addictive drug.  A loaded .380 unregistered handgun was also found in the room. Arevalo was arrested for numerous charges including possession for sale of methamphetamine and possessing a handgun while in possession and under the influence of drugs. Salinas was booked and released from the jail on her promise to appear. Both subjects have pending court dates.
