Trick-or-treater’s are asked to finish no later than 9:00 PM. Social distancing, mask wearing, proper hand sanitizing, and gathering limits should be observed.

Groups trick-or-treating should be limited to current household members, stay local, and limit the number of homes visited. Trick-or-treaters should wear a face mask: costume masks are not a substitute. If trick-or-treating with non-household members, individuals should social distance.

If a homeowner is not comfortable in participating, please keep your porch light off and you can place a sign out front if you choose. If Trick-or-treaters come to a home and the porch light is out or a sign is posted please respect that persons wishes and do not approach the home for candy.

So as not to encourage large gatherings no roads will be closed or blocked off. Trick-or-treaters should walk on a sidewalk if one is available. If there is no sidewalk, walk facing traffic, as far to the side as safely possible so you can move quickly out of the road if you feel threatened by traffic. Drivers do not expect to see pedestrians in the roadway or to come out from between parked cars or behind shrubbery.

Drivers please slow down in residential neighborhoods and obey all traffic signs and signals. Drive at least 5 mph below the posted speed limit to give yourself extra time to react to children who may dart into the street. Watch for children walking on roadways. In dark costumes, they'll be harder to see at night.
