Russell Richeal was arrested for Sexual Assault of a Minor

SUSPECT(S): Russell Richeal, a 37-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On October 21, 2020, at 9:53 p.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to a report of continuous sexual abuse of a child in the city of Twentynine Palms. The victim disclosed sexual abuse by a family member, Russell Richeal. Richeal sexually abused the victim continuously for over eleven years at multiple locations, including their shared residence in the city of Twentynine Palms.
On October 22, 2020, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Russell Richeal for his violations of PC 288.5 – Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Minor, PC 287(c )(1) – Oral Copulation: Minor under 14 – 10+ yrs., PC 261.5(C ) – Sexual Intercourse with a Minor 3+ yrs., PC 286(C )(2)(B) – Sodomy by Force: Minor under 14.
Later that same day, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff Department located and arrested Richeal in the 5200 block of 26th Street in Jurupa Valley for his warrant. Richeal was booked on his warrant for the above charges in Riverside County.
On Monday, October 26, he was transported to the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held on $250,000 bail.
