Steven Clark of Lancaster was stopped by deputies on the I-40 near River Road and arrested for vehicle theft

LOCATION: Interstate 40, near River Road, Needles, CA
SUSPECT: Steven Clark, 43 years old resident of Lancaster, CA
SUMMARY: On Saturday, October 17, 2020, at 8:58 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police, located a stolen 1996 Ford Ranger vehicle traveling west on Interstate 40, near River Road in the city of Needles. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver and sole occupant, Steven Clark. On October 8, 2020, the victim reported the vehicle stolen from the city of Palmdale, CA. Clark was subsequently placed under arrest for Vehicle Theft. Clark was transported to and booked at the Colorado River Jail, where he is currently being held on a bail amount of $100,000 while awaiting court proceedings.
