Green Bay Police Investigate two reports of Shots being Fired

At approximately 2:23pm, Green Bay officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Imperial Ln for the report of shots fired. Upon officers' arrival, they located gunfire evidence in support of the reported incident. Officers have not located anyone injured as a result of this incident.

At approximately 3:00pm, Green Bay officers were dispatched to a 2nd incident of the report of shots fired in the 1400 block of University Av. Upon arrival, officers located more evidence of shots being fired. Officers have not located anyone injured as a result of this incident either.

The 1400 block of University Av will be shut down for an undetermined amount of time while our Detectives and Forensic Unit process the scene.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid University Av and use alternative east/west routes of I43, Main St, or Mason St.

This is an active investigation and therefore no more information will be released at this time.
