Detectives arrested Jonathan Caskey after they determined he intentionally set fire to the Imperial 400 Motel

LOCATION: 600 block of West Broadway Street, Imperial 400 Motel Needles, CA
SUSPECT: Jonathan Jerrid Caskey, 39 years old, resident of Needles, CA
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at approximately 3:42 am, deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department, along with San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a fire at the Imperial 400 motel located in the 600 block of West Broadway Street in Needles. San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Arson/Bomb detail responded to the scene to conduct additional investigation. The investigation showed the fire was intentionally set. Jonathan Caskey was identified as the suspect and was arrested for arson. Caskey was booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount set at $250,000., pending a court hearing.
