Los Angeles County Sheriff’s investigators are continuing their investigation into the traffic fatality which occurred on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at approximately 7:10 p.m., at the intersection of Triunfo Canyon Road / Saddle Mountain Drive, City of Westlake Village.

Preliminary information indicates two juveniles were struck by a motorist while crossing the street. One juvenile was pronounced deceased on scene; the second juvenile was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased a few hours later.

Rebecca Grossman, age 57, was arrested on two counts of vehicular manslaughter, bail set at $2,000,000.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.

NARRATIVE:  
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s investigators are continuing their investigation into the death of a male juvenile.  The traffic collision was reported on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at approximately 7:10 p.m., Triunfo Canyon Road / Saddle Mountain Drive, in the City of Westlake Village.
 
Preliminary information indicates that a traffic collision involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian occurred in which two juveniles were struck by a motorist.  One juvenile was pronounced deceased on scene, while the other juvenile was transported to a local hospital.  The condition of the second juvenile is unknown at this time. 
 
One person of interest has been detained.
