Detectives identified and arrested three (3) male suspects responsible for damage at Yucca Valley High School

DATE/TIME: September 1, 2020 12:45 a.m.

INCIDENT: Burglary/ Vandalism

LOCATION: 7600 Sage Avenue, Yucca Valley

SUSPECT(S): Confidential, 17-year-old male resident of Yucca Valley
Johnathon Ferguson, 20-year-old male resident of Yucca Valley
Alex Krisinski, 20-year-old male resident of Yucca Valley

VICTIM(S): Morongo Basin Unified School District


SUMMARY: On September 1, 2020, at 5:30 a.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to the report of a vandalism at Yucca Valley High School located at 7600 Sage Avenue, in the town of Yucca Valley. During the early morning hours three male subjects vandalized locations within the Yucca Valley High School campus. Damages to the campus were found to be in excess of $18,000.00.

During the investigation, detectives discovered three males illegally entered into the campus, damaging numerous classrooms and buildings within an approximate two hour time frame. Detectives were able to positively identify a 17-year-old male juvenile suspect. On September 2, 2020, detectives executed a search warrant in the 7500 block of Church Street in Yucca Valley. The 17-year-old suspect was arrested and booked at the San Bernardino Juvenile Detention Center. Detectives continued the investigation into identifying the two outstanding suspects.

On September 14, 2020, Alex Krisinski was positively identified as a suspect in the investigation. An arrest warrant was sought by detectives. Krisinski was located and arrested by patrol deputies in Yucca Valley the same day. Krisinski was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for burglary. The third male, Johnathon Ferguson, was positively identified as a suspect in the burglary investigation.

On September 28, 2020, an arrest warrant was issued for Ferguson. Ferguson later surrendered himself to detectives at the Morongo Basin Station. Ferguson was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for burglary and is being held in lieu of $50,000.00.
