INCIDENT: H&S 11370.1(a) Possession of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm.
LOCATION: 1500 Block of Hospitality Lane, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Jasmin Alisia Rubalcava, age 25 a resident of Needles
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Friday, September 25, 2020, at approximately 10:27 am deputies from the Colorado River Station/ Needles Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 1500 block of Hospitality Lane for an equipment violation. The driver, later identified as Jasmin Rubalcava was found to have a suspended/revoked license out of California. As a result of the traffic stop, Rubalcava was found in possession of a methamphetamine pipe on her person. During a search of the vehicle, deputies recovered a loaded magazine, a box of ammunition and a Glock semi-automatic handgun. She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm and was booked at the Colorado River Station Jail and currently being held on a bail amount of $ 50,000.00.
