Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male black adult approximately 20 years of age. The incident was reported Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at approximately 11:23 A.M. The incident occurred on the 1000 Blk of West 97^th St, Unincorporated Los Angeles.

Detectives have learned that deputies assigned to South Los Angeles Station responded to the location regarding a gun-shot victim call.

 Upon arrival they located the victim sitting inside a vehicle suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper torso.
 
The male adult was pronounced dead at the scene.

A male adult and a female adult were detained by deputies and they are currently being questioned by Homicide Investigators as to any possible involvement.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
