Update #4 Evacuation Warning (SCU Lightning Complex Fire) Info for Fremont

Good evening Fremont,
 
This is the daily City of Fremont update for Tuesday, August 25, 2020.  
 
Evacuation Warning Lifted:  Today, August 25, 2020, at 5:00 PM, CAL FIRE lifted the Evacuation Warning for all areas within Fremont City limits.  Press release:  CAL FIRE Press Release- August 25, 2020 5PM

We ask that all residents continue to remain vigilant and have a plan in place. Should the situation change, the City of Fremont, Alameda County and/or our public safety partners will use AC Alert, Nixle and other communication resources to notify residents. Please stay informed by signing up for alerts. 
 
Future City of Fremont SCU Lightning Complex Fire communication will become less frequent, unless the situation changes or new Fremont specific information becomes available. Fremont Fire remains actively involved fighting the SCU Lightning Complex fire and will continue to keep us informed.

Air Quality Center: The Fremont Community Center (40204 Paseo Padre Pkwy) is open for those needing some temporary relief from poor air quality due to fires.  The Community Center will be open this week, Mon-Wed (Aug. 24-26, 2020) 10AM – 6PM.
