Full Notification

The Town of Yorktown Police Department is investigating a leaving the scene auto accident that occurred on Birdsall Dr. at the crossing area of the North County Trailway.  A gray colored minvan or SUV with damage to the passenger side is sought.  Said vehicle will have at least one tinted window missing from the passenger side.  Preliminary investigation indicates that a bicyclist crossing Birdsall Dr. collided with the above mentioned vehicle at the above location.  The bicyclist suffered serious injuries.  The Yorktown Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying the owner / operator of this gray minvan or SUV.  Please phone the Yorktown Police Department main desk at 914-962-4141 with any useful information.
