HEALTH CARE:
Pettis County Health Center

  • As of 12 noon on August 10, 2020 there are 511 confirmed positive cases of which 123 are currently active.  This number will increase as the day progresses. The final count from the weekend will be posted as of 3 pm.
  • As of last Monday’s report, there were 422 cases.  The county has seen an increase of at least 89 cases this week.   There is clearly community transmission.  Personal choice has not slowed the spread.    We were concerned in April and May about contracting the disease.  The risk is much greater now.
  • As of this time, there is no direction from the court placing the face covering rule on hold or declaring the rule invalid.   Please wear a face covering while in public places both indoors and out.  We need to work together as a community to protect each other and get our children back to school.
Bothwell Regional Health Center
  • Bothwell currently has 8 hospitalized patients with ages ranging from 50 to 94.
  • Bothwell continues to allow 1 visitor per patient during visiting hours. Visiting hours are from 10 am – 4 pm and all visitors must check in upon entry of the facility. Visitors are required to wear masks at all times and practice social distancing. If visitors refuse to wear a mask, they will be asked to leave. By wearing a mask, we can all protect our patients, employees and other visitors.
  • Bothwell Walk In Clinic (located at 3700 W. 10th St. in Sedalia) provides COVID-19 PCR curbside testing for all individuals. Any individual can request testing as a physician’s order is not required but we ask that all patients stay in their vehicle and call the number posted. Please be patient as testing is on a first come basis and wait times may be longer due to increased volumes.

Katy Trail Community Health
  • In addition to face to face visits we continue to offer virtual visits for our high risk patients.
  • To schedule an appointment, please call 877-733-5824.
  • Katy Trail Community Health continues to support the need for community testing at each of our sites.  Individuals can access our website to request a testing date and time at https://www.katytrailcommunityhealth.org/covid-testing
