There will be a coordinated opening of the Merriman st. And Grigsby Ave. intersection this morning, August 10th, at 8am. This intersection has been widened and has a dedicated turn lane. Due to these changes it was necessary to make this intersection a 4-way stop intersection. There are warning signs and lights alerting drivers to the new stop signs on Grigsby. Use caution when navigating this intersection. Make sure traffic is going to stop before crossing Grigsby Ave. on Merriman st. As with any new traffic control device, it will take time for drivers to get used to the new stop signs.
