Domestic Violence Suspect Arrested
Suspect: Adolfo Gallardo Rodriguez, 34-year-old male (In-custody)
On Wednesday, August 5th, the victim reported that her ex-boyfriend, later identified as Adolfo Gallardo Rodriguez, (34), had entered her apartment last Friday night, without her permission. According to the victim, he proceeded to physically assault her and threatened to kill her.
On Thursday morning, the victim alleged the suspect went to her residence again, waited for her to leave, and forcibly placed her in his vehicle. The victim was able to flee from the vehicle when it came to a stop and call “911” for help. Redwood City Police Officers responded to the area and located the suspect vehicle. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and were able to arrest the suspect without incident.
Gallardo Rodriguez was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on several felony charges, including kidnapping, criminal threats, burglary, and domestic violence.
