Detectives investigated a fire and arrested Bastian Sanchez of Needles for Arson

LOCATION: Hospitality Lane/Flip Mendez Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT: Bastian Sanchez, 28 years old, resident of Needles, CA
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at 11:30 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department, along with San Bernardino County Fire Department, responded to a fire in the area of Hospitality Lane and Flip Mendez Street in Needles. Investigation showed the fire was intentionally set and Bastian Sanchez was identified as the suspect who set the fire. Sanchez was contacted on Monday, August 4, 2020 and after being interviewed was arrested for arson. Sanchez was booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail set at $50,000.
