Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man. The incident was reported Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at approximately 7:43 a.m., in the 1400 block West 113th Street, Los Angeles.

South Los Angeles Station deputies responded to a call of a gunshot victim. When they arrived, they found a male Black adult suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.

The victim, a male Black in his 40’s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

It’s unknown if this shooting is gang related and there’s no suspect information.
