5:30 PM STORM UPDATE - CONTINUED MULTIPLE POWER OUTAGES AND ROAD CLOSURES - CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS

South Brunswick Township is experiencing widespread power outages throughout town. PSE&G reports 22% of township residents are without power, and they are working to restore power.

Many roadways remain closed due to trees and live power lines down across the road. Several traffic signals are out, causing intersections to be closed or re-routed.

Limit any non-essential travel while repairs are made.

We expect power outages and road closures to continue for an extended period of time.

South Brunswick Police Department and Department of Public Works will continue to work to open roadways and work with PSE&G to restore power to all residents of the township.
