Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a man. The incident was reported Sunday, August 2, 2020, at approximately 9:15 p.m., on the 600 block of Devirian Place in Altadena.
 
Altadena deputies responded to a gunshot victim call for service. When they arrived, they found a male Hispanic adult suffering from apparent puncture wounds.
 
The 23 year-old Hispanic man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
 
Prior to the stabbing, the victim was involved in an altercation with at least two male Hispanics in their 20’s who fled the scene in an unknown direction.
 
It is unknown at this time if this incident is gang related.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
