Crimes Against Children Investigators arrested Joseph Stevens of Yucaipa for possession/distribution of child porn

LOCATION: City of Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Joseph Arlen Stevens, 57-years-old, resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC) and Sheriff’s Hi-Tech Division, began an investigation into the downloading, possession and distribution of child pornography. Through investigation, it was determined the child pornography was distributed from a home in Yucaipa.
On Thursday, July 30, 2020, personnel from CAC, Hi-Tech Crime Detail and the Yucaipa Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at a residence in the 12000 block of 14th Street in Yucaipa. Investigators determined Stevens was responsible for the distribution of child pornography. At the conclusion of the investigation, Stevens was arrested for the distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography. Stevens was subsequently booked into Central Detention Center. Stevens bail was set at $25,000.
