On 07/23/2020, Detectives from the Sheriff’s Gang Unit concluded an investigation with the arrest of (S) Jordan Yanez at his residence in the 200 Block of Homer Avenue in the City of Ventura. Throughout the investigation, detectives identified Yanez as a narcotics dealer selling narcotics out of his residence. On 07/23/2020, detectives contacted Yanez and several other known Ventura County probationers near Yanez’ residence. Detectives obtained and served a search warrant for Yanez’ residence. During the service of the search warrant two illegal handguns, ammunition and narcotics packaged for sales were seized at the residence. Yanez was arrested for PC 27545-Illegal Firearm Transfer and HS 11351-Possession of Narcotics for sales. The other known probationers were arrested for HS 11550(a)-Under the influence of a controlled Substance and other misdemeanor narcotic related offenses.
