The victim's mother contacted the WWPD after "good Samaritans" found the (3) dogs wandering without any caretaker nearby and returned them to the mother's residence.
Patrol Units, led by Sgt. LaTorre #468 began a search of the area between the victim's residence and the Community Park. The units searched on foot and utlized FLIR Cameras. In addition, the victim was entered into the NCIC/SCIC as a Missing/Endangered Person. The initial search involved constant phone related searches and pings being conducted by Communications personnel all night long and into the next day. All searches yielded negative results for the Missing Person.
On Thursday July 23, 2020 another search was conducted in daylight with multiple Officers in addition to K-9s from WWPD, Robbinsville Twp. PD, and the Mercer County Sheriff's Office. The search involved all of these agencies and dogs painstakingly searching the thick brush While the lengthy search was ongoing the WWPD Detective Bureau was continuing the investigation into the Missing Person which included door to door searches and checks of all local cameras. Communications continued to relay ping information and fielded many calls. Once again, the search met with negative results for the Missing Person but yielded vital information.
On Friday July 24, 2020 a task force of Search and Rescue teams was set for a massive search of the Community Park and nearby neighborhoods. The Community Park was closed to the general public by Fire Police while the search continued as well as the Investigation. Ptl. Chief Garofalo wanted to thank each & every person who assisted in the successful outcome. They never gave up in finding this person. Without the teamwork, incredible efforts from numerous agencies, and the usage of the latest technologies (including K-9s and Drones), this incident would have had a tragic ending.

Chiefs Note:
I am so very impressed by how well all these organizations worked so well together and how from moment one, our officers and communications staff never stopped working to locate him. They searched in the dreadful heat all night long and our communications officers constantly updated them with cell tower information. I cant believe how many good people came out with their amazing dogs and fought the heat and vegetation to help us (Sheriffs Blood Hounds). The New Jersey State Police pulled out all the stops and supplied all the resources we needed without question and the task force was beyond organized and efficient. The volunteer fire companies and our own emergency services commanded by Chief Lynch operated so efficiently with the help of the County and all their radio equipment who were also on site to help. I am sure I am forgetting so many including all our brothers and sisters in blue (Robbinsville, Quori not Scott) but there were so many including our residents who kept their eyes open and were ready to help. Thank you all !!!!!!!!
