INCIDENT: Murder Investigation
LOCATION: 15400 block of Park Avenue East, Victorville
VICTIM: Lori Lynn Kyler, age 50 a transient of Victorville
SUSPECT: Typrice Freeman, age 36 a transient of Victorville

Through investigation, Homicide Detectives identified Typrice Freeman as the suspect involved in the Murder of Lori Kyler.
On Sunday, July 19, at approximately 4:00 a.m., a deputy from the Victorville Police Department located Freeman in the City of Victorville. Freeman was found to be in possession of stolen property. He was arrested, transported, and booked into the High Desert Detention Center.
Homicide Detectives interviewed Freeman about the death of the victim. After the interview, Freeman was booked for Murder. Freeman is in custody at the High Desert Detention Center where he is being held without bail. He is scheduled for court on July 21.

On Friday, July 17, 2020, at approximately 10:42 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a motel in the 15400 block of Park Avenue East, following the report of a possible deceased female at the location. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, later identified as Lori Lynn Kyler, deceased inside a room. Through investigation, deputies believed a struggle had occurred inside the room prior to the victim’s death.
Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division - Homicide Detail were requested and responded to the location to conduct the investigation. Detectives are attempting to identify the suspect(s) involved in the incident. No arrests have been made; the investigation is ongoing.
