LOCATION: N. Waterman Avenue / E. 13th Street, San Bernardino, CA.
SUSPECT(S): Edward Gardiel, 22-year-old resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY: On July 12, 2020, at approximately 2:33 a.m., Deputy Rule, from the Sheriff's Central Station, conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. Waterman Avenue and E. 13th Street in San Bernardino.
Rule contacted the passenger of the vehicle identified as Edward Gardiel who displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. During a search of the vehicle, Rule located a 9mm gun and 13-round, high capacity magazine. Gardiel was arrested for P.C. 25850(c)(6), H.S. 11550(E), P.C. 32310 and booked into Central Detention Center.
