Juan Francisco Lozano was arrested for residential burglary and a weapons offense

LOCATION: 600 block of Lagoon St., Needles
SUSPECT: Juan Francisco Lozano, 36 years old, resident of Needles
SUMMARY:
On Friday, July 10, 2020 at about 2:10 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to a residence in the 600 block of Lagoon St. in Needles for a report of a burglary. The adult male suspect forced entry into an unoccupied residence and fled from the residence after being confronted by neighbors. Through an investigation, the suspect was identified as Juan Francisco Lozano and an arrest warrant was issued for Lozano.
On July 11, 2020, at about 4:50 p.m., deputies contacted Lozano near the intersection of N K St. and Needles Highway. Lozano was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm and subsequently arrested for PC 459 Burglary, along with a weapons offense. Lozano was booked into the Colorado River Station jail where he is being held on $50,000 bail and is awaiting a court hearing.
