Deputies conducted a felony traffic stop on a stolen vehicle and arrested the driver, Steven Boblett of Santa Paula

LOCATION: J Street and Interstate 40, Needles, CA.
SUSPECT: Steven Boblett, 36 years old, resident of Santa Paula, CA.
SUMMARY:
On Friday July 10, 2020 at 5:28 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department - Needles Police Department conducted a felony traffic stop on a white 2019 Nissan that was east bound on Interstate 40 near J Street, in the City of Needles. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Kingman, Arizona. The driver of the vehicle, Steven Boblett, was taken into custody without incident. Boblett was arrested for California Vehicle Code section 10851 – Grand Theft Auto. Boblett was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Boblett was being held on $50,000 bail pending a court hearing. Boblett later produced bail and was given a court date.
