Deputies arrested Elizabeth Bravo for possession of heroin and assaulting a deputy during the arrest

INCIDENT: Possession of Narcotics & Assault of a Peace Officer
LOCATION: 800 Block of 4th Street, Needles, CA.
SUSPECT: Elizabeth Bravo, 38 years old, resident of Needles, CA.
SUMMARY:
On Friday July 10, 2020 at 5:55 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department - Needles Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance on the 800 block of 4th Street in the City of Needles. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a female, later identified as Elizabeth Bravo. During a cursory search for weapons, Bravo was found to be in possession of approximately 31 grams of suspected heroin. Bravo was taken into custody without incident. While completing a jail check, Bravo assaulted the deputy. During the incident, the deputy received minor injuries. Bravo was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Bravo was booked for Health and Safety code section 11350, Possession of narcotics and Penal Code section 69, Resisting an Officer. Bravo is being held on $50,000 bail, pending a court hearing.
