SHERIFF VICTOR HILL’S “Operation Carmen” Removes 46 Guns Of The Streets In The Riverdale Road Area.

On 06-12-20 a female Uber driver named Carmen picked up four unknown black males at the Dollar General, located at Flat Shoals Rd and Riverdale Rd.  The suspects robbed and shot her in the neck and arm pit with a .40 caliber pistol.  Carmen is still fighting for her life.

Carmen’s family reached out to Sheriff Victor Hill requesting a operation similar to “Operation Gabriel” to get justice for Carmen.  Of course the Sheriff gladly obliged, and thus began “Operation Carmen”.   Since the initiation of  “Operation Carmen”, the Sheriff’s Office has made 303 arrests, seized 46 guns from the hands of criminals, and recovered 16 stolen vehicles.  The Sheriff has vowed that he will not release any pressure on criminals in this area until Detectives get the break they need in this case.

Sheriff Victor Hill is asking anyone with information that can identify any of the four suspects responsible for this heinous crime to contact the Clayton County Police Criminal Investigation Division or call the Sheriff’s Office at 770-477-4479.  Anonymous tips can also be sent via the Nixle tip line.
