Deputies arrest Adam Roney of Needles for vandalism

SUSPECT(S): Adam Roney, age 33 a resident of Needles
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Friday, July 3rd, 2020, at about 11:16 a.m., deputies responded to a church establishment in the 200 block of D St in Needles following the report of a vandalism.
When deputies arrived, they made contact with church employees. During the investigation, it was determined a suspect had caused damage to an area in front of the church with spray painted graffiti. It was determined the damage to the property had exceeded $500.00 in value.
On Sunday, July 5th, at about 11:19 a.m., deputies made contact with Adam Roney. During an investigation, Roney was identified as the supect in the church vandalism. Roney was placed under arrest for PC 594.3(a)-Vandalism to a Church or Synagogue. Roney was later booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, where he is currently being held on a bail amount of $50,000.
