Even though State recreation areas are opening, City playgrounds and basketball courts remain closed till further notice.
 
Phase Two Openings: On June 15, restaurants can begin outdoor dining with social distancing in place, non-essential retail stores can operate at reduced capacity and allow customers inside but masks are required for all, curbside pickup will be available at libraries, child care services are cleared to reopen with sanitizing and health protective measures in place and drop off and pick up services are in effect at the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.  Hair salons and barbershops reopened on June 22nd with certain restrictions.  Remember social distancing, sanitizing and masks will help to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and allow for economic recovery.
 
Travel Advisory: New York, New Jersey and Connecticut issued a travel advisory Wednesday that requires people arriving from states with high coronavirus rates to quarantine for 14 days.  The states include Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, North and South Carolina, Texas, Utah, California, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Tennessee.
 
Virtual Family Assistance Center: The American Red Cross has opened a Virtual Family Assistance Center specifically to help those who have experienced the loss of a loved one due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Emotional support and other services are available.  Learn more at: https://www.redcross.org/virtual-family-assistance-center/nj-family-assistance-center.html  .
 
New Burlington County COVID 19 Mobile App: Please download the Burlington County Health Department app and share it with family, friends, and neighbors using this link: https://apps.myocv.com/share/a44608060  The app includes important news, alerts, and resources related to COVID-19 and testing sites, clinics and events, and health department programs and services.
 
Testing Site: Burlington County is no longer providing testing at the Westampton Complex. Instead, we will be taking testing out into the community. Mobile Clinics are by appointment only, please call our call center at 609-726-7097 to make an appointment (Monday to Friday 10 AM to 2 PM) NO APPOINTMENT-NO TEST!  Please see attached Testing Information.
 
Free COVID-19 Diagnostic Testing is available at the South Jersey Family Medical Center every Tuesday from 11AM to 2PM beginning 02 June 2020.  Antibody Testing is also available.  You must make an appointment for either test.  You may call (609) 415-9374 on Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM till 4:30PM.
 
Face Masks: It is recommended to wear face masks or some type of covering over your mouth and nose if you venture outside. This is voluntary unless you enter a retail establishment where you MUST wear a covering over your nose and mouth.
 
Social Distancing:  As a reminder, even with the Stay-At-Home order rescinded social distance  still plays a key part in preventing others from being infected.  Please remain six feet apart at all times.
 
The City of Burlington OEM will issue a weekly COVID-19 update every Wednesday unless situations demand otherwise. The following information should be shared with members of the community.
