06-23-2020 WALDWICK MUNICIPAL POOL OPENING FRIDAY, JUNE 26 - SEE MESSAGE BELOW FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION 
The Waldwick Municipal Pool will open Friday, June 26th, 2020. There are many changes that are being implemented for the 2020 pool season in order to comply with the State’s restrictions to combat COVID-19. Please read the details below in their entirety.
Pool Hours: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, 7 days a week
Capacity Restrictions:
Weekday – First-come first-serve, limit 250 members
Weekend/Holiday – Reservations required, limit 250 members per session, 1 session per member per day. The available sessions are listed below. Details on the reservation system will be shared with members later this week.
Session 1, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Session 2, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Session 3, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Membership eligibility: Due to capacity constraints, membership will be limited to Waldwick residents only. If the State raises the outdoor gathering capacity limit above 250, we will reassess offering memberships to non-Waldwick residents.
Membership Rates: 2019 pre-season rates will be assessed throughout the 2020 season.
- Children age 4-17 - $50
- Adults age 18-62 - $55
- Seniors age 62+ - $45
Membership Registration: Registration will be taken at the pool beginning Wednesday, June 24th. Registration hours on the 24th and 25th are 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for seniors only, and 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm for the general public. Beginning Friday, June 26th, registration will be accepted at the pool each day. Please bring your own facemask, pen, and check to register.
New Rules:
- Members must bring their own chairs. All chairs, tables, and benches have been removed or closed.
- Members must bring their own food and drink. All vending machines and water fountains have been removed or closed.
- Members must dispose of their own garbage in the dumpster at the pool exit. All waste containers have been removed.
- Guest passes are not for sale and guests are not permitted in the pool area.
- Swim lessons have been cancelled for the year.
- The swing set and pool slide are closed.
- Sharing of equipment is prohibited, including but not limited to goggles, toys, pool noodles, etc. except among immediate family members, caretakers, household members, or romantic partners.
- All toys are prohibited from the main pool.
- Bathrooms will be limited to one person or one family at a time.
- Foot coverings are required in the bathrooms.
Face Coverings:
- Patrons and staff are required to wear cloth face coverings when entering, exiting, and moving around the facility grounds.
- Cloth face coverings are not encouraged when traveling to and from the water.
- Cloth face coverings should not be put on children under age 2 because of danger of suffocation.
- Cloth face coverings are not required in the water due to increased risk of drowning.
- Hands should be washed frequently with soap and water.
- Hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol should be used if soap and water are not available.
- Do not touch your face (especially eyes, nose, or mouth) with unwashed hands.
- Stay at home if you are sick.
- Practice social distancing and avoid large gatherings.
