Service from the Heart.
On Sunday (06/21/20), Officer Noyd responded to the area of Almaden Blvd. and Alvarado Niles Rd. to investigate a hate crime. Upon arrival, Officer Noyd learned that an unknown suspect spray-painted racist graffiti and smashed the front window of a vehicle. Officer Noyd conducted a thorough investigation, and detectives are currently following up on physical and video evidence.
We are proud to report that Officer Noyd went above and beyond while serving our community. He took it upon himself to obtain cleaning supplies from our Public Works Department and he removed the racist graffiti from the victim's vehicle.
