On Monday, June 15th at approximately 4:33 PM Pomona Police Dispatch received a 911 call of a vehicle fire near the intersection of Holt Ave. and San Antonio Ave. When Officers arrived on scene, they located a vehicle fully engulfed on Holt Ave. located west of San Antonio Ave. The Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched and responded on scene. As the vehicle fire was being contained by fire personnel, a deceased male adult subject was located inside the vehicle. Pomona Police Homicide Detectives responded to the scene of the incident to assume the investigation. As of this time, the deceased has not been identified and the cause of death is still under investigation. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office responded and took custody of the deceased subject.
