**Update** #LASD Shooting Death Investigation, 11300 blk Elmhurst Dr, #Norwalk
Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Asian in the city of Norwalk.
On Friday, June 5, 2020, at 2:47 AM, deputies from Norwalk Sheriff’s Station responded to the 11300 block of Elmhurst Drive regarding a medical rescue call. Deputies discovered the victim unresponsive in the street where Elmhurst Drive intersects with Longworth Avenue.
The victim was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
There is no suspect or vehicle description at this time.
The murder weapon is outstanding.
This shooting does not appear to be gang related.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are responding to the 11300 block of Elmhurst Drive, Norwalk, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
