Today, from 3-5 p.m. School District 157-C will have their 8th grade graduation procession at Lincoln-Way East.  Expect increased traffic in the area of Lincoln-Way Lane and LaGrange Road during that time.  Tomorrow School District 161 will have their graduation procession from 5-7 p.m. also at Lincoln-Way East. Increased traffic is anticipated for their event as well so please use increased caution when traveling in this area during those times.
 
Frankfort and Chicagoland areas continue to experience burglaries to motor vehicles.  In surrounding towns, several motor vehicle thefts have also been reported.  We would like to remind our residents to always lock your vehicle doors and to never leave keys or key fobs inside of your car.  There has been an increase in this type of activity during daytime hours, so please be vigilant at all times.  If you see or hear something suspicious please call us immediately.  Keep garage doors closed when possible and remind neighbors to do the same.  Working together as a community to deter and report incidents is the best way to stop crime.
