The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for... Northeastern Monmouth County in central New Jersey...

* Until 215 PM EDT.

* At 1018 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers and some thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include... Long Branch, Asbury Park, Middletown, Old Bridge, Marlboro, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Red Bank, Matawan, Highlands, East Freehold, Robertsville, Elberon, Navesink, Lincroft, Morganville, Yorketown, Eatontown, West Long Branch and Keyport. This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 103 and 120.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MONMOUTH, NJ
