Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau has made an arrest in the stabbing death of a man in Santa Clarita. The incident occurred Friday, May 15, 2020 at approximately 11:33 p.m., on the 23400 block of Lyons Avenue.

Homicide investigators have arrested suspect Steven Trujillo, male Hispanic 27 years-old, for the murder of Sean Lewis Driggs, 51 years-old.

Investigators believe the attack on the victim was random, and the other attacks in the area that same night are connected to suspect Trujillo.

Suspect Steven Trujillo is being held for murder with a $3,000,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in San Fernando Superior Court, 900 3rd Street, San Fernando on June 29, 2020.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are continuing their investigation into the stabbing death of a male adult that occurred on Friday, May 15, 2020 at approximately 11:33 P.M.

Deputies from Santa Clarita Station responded to the location regarding a possible assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arriving on scene, they located a Male White adult suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
A person of interest was detained at the scene.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to the 23400 block of Lyons Ave, Santa Clarita to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a male adult which occurred on Friday, May 15, 2020, at approximately 11:33 P.M.
                                                               
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and there is one suspect in custody.
