Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau is continuing to assist West Covina Police Department with a death investigation. The call for service was received Sunday, May 17, 2020, at approximately 6:53 a.m., near the 2100 block of West Garvey Avenue North in West Covina.
West Covina Police Officers responded to the location regarding a man down call. When they arrived, they discovered a male victim suffering from puncture wounds to the upper torso.
The victim, a male Hispanic in his late 20’s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect information at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau is assisting West Covina Police Department with a stabbing death investigation. The call for service was received Sunday, May 17, 2020, at approximately 6:53 a.m., near the 2100 block of West Garvey Avenue North in West Covina.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
