LOCATION: City of Loma Linda
SUSPECT: Jovon Jenkins, 45-year-old, resident of Bloomington
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, May 10, 2020, Central Sheriff’s Station received a report of a suspicious relationship between Jovon Jenkins, a basketball coach at AB Miller High School in Fontana, and a juvenile victim. The victim is not a student at AB Miller High School but met Jenkins in 2017 while he (Jenkins) was employed as a coach at Grand Terrace High School and a travel ball coach in Rialto. On Monday, May 11, 2020, San Bernardino County Sheriff Department’s Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC) opened an investigation. At the conclusion of the investigation, Jenkins was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center. His bail was set at $250,000.
