**UPD** LASD Homicide Det. Assisted Hawthorne PD with Stabbing Investigation, 4400 Block of W 129th Street, Hawthorne
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are assisting the Hawthorne Police Department into the stabbing death of a male black adult that occurred on 4400 block of west 129th street in the city of Hawthorne, on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at approximately 12:30 a.m.
Detectives have learned that Hawthorne P.D. Officers responded to the location regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon their arrival, they immediately detained one suspect and located the victim who was suffering from one stab wound to the upper torso.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect was detained and is currently being questioned by Homicide Detectives.
The investigation in ongoing and there is no other information available.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are assisting Hawthorne Police Department with a stabbing investigation. The incident occurred on Saturday May 9, 2020, at approximately 12:30 a.m., on the 4400 block of West 129th Street, Hawthorne.
The suspect was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
